Hello East Derry Families,
How can it be the end of November? I am so grateful to be at East Derry and share in the lives of you all. Each day, the staff here welcomes your children into the classrooms and encourages them to be the best they can be. Our PTA continues to support us as this month, the students enjoyed an exciting assembly, Slapstick Science. There’s nothing like learning, laughing, and having fun at the same time!
I also want to recognize Mrs. Dickerson for facilitating a very successful book fair and Ms. Mail for hosting a workshop for the PTA Reflections Contest. Shout out to the whole staff as our Parent/Teacher conferences were a big success, and I am in awe of the true partnership between our staff and your families!
As we approach December, my hope is that everyone stays healthy and enjoys this extra long weekend ahead.

~The PTA is hosting a Family Paint Night on December 5th. There are a limited number of spots so be sure to fill out the form and get it back to school.
~Hats off to Mrs. Cogan and Mrs. Hall as they are excited to offer the Snowsports Club this year for 3rd and 4th Graders at McIntyre Ski Area in Manchester! East Derry will be going on Wednesdays. Dates for Ski/Snowboard Club: January 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th and February 6th. There are still some spots left.
~Grades close today and Learning Reports will be emailed December 9th.
~No school November 27-29 for Thanksgiving Recess.
~There is an Early Release Day December 11th. Dismissal begins at 12:55 PM.
~The Chorus Concert is December 13th at 6:00 PM.
~No school December 23rd-January 1st for the Holiday Recess.
