We are looking forward to the start of school next week. Here are just a few reminders and quick items to share:
Student Schedules
As of this afternoon, individual student schedules for GHH are available through PowerSchool. Please note the following:

When you log into PowerSchool, click on “My Schedule” on the Navigation menu along the left side.

At this point, we are unable to make any team, advisory, or Unified Arts changes unless there is a significant error in the schedule. Preparing classroom rosters is a collaborative effort amongst many staff members. The scheduling process takes months to complete and many factors go into creating a balanced classroom roster. Therefore, potential schedule changes not only impact your child, they impact the balance of all other classes.

As we find errors and add new students, we may need to make slight adjustments to schedules (such as the order of core classes). Be sure to check the schedule before the first day of school, just in case changes were made.
Meet & Greet - August 22
We invite you to join us for a “Meet and Greet” on Friday, August 22, from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. This is a casual drop-in event where students and their families can explore the school, locate their team area, and meet some of their teachers, as well as connect with other families who are new to our community. We understand that everyone has busy schedules, so feel free to drop in for a few moments to connect and say hello.
Bus Schedules
Bus letters were emailed last Friday, August 15. Bus route information is also available on the district website:
https://www.sau10.nh.gov/departments/transportation/index . If you need to request any changes to your child’s bus or stop, please contact First Student Bus Company directly at 603-432-7417.
Fall Sports Tryouts
Fall Sports tryouts start on the first day of school, August 25, from 2-4pm for all sports. All paperwork needs to be completed and brought to tryouts by students. Arrival & Dismissal Procedures
Step-by-step details for the our arrival and dismissal processes, as well as an illustrative map, were sent in previous messages. Please note that the general flow of traffic is ONE-WAY around the school, in a counter clockwise direction. In addition, there is limited two-way traffic available in the front of the building. Please follow the posted signage and pavement markings.
Arrival and Dismissal Times:

Students may begin entering the building at 7:10 a.m.

Dismissal begins at 1:50 p.m.
First Day of School

The first day of school is Monday, August 25.

Upon entering the building, students should report to their team area.

If they choose, students may purchase breakfast in the Dining Hall on the way to their team area.

The school day will begin in Advisory for Morning Meeting.

Staff will be available throughout the building to help students find their advisory.

Students will receive a hard copy of their schedule during Morning Meeting.
