The Board may appoint a Fiscal Advisory Committee to counsel it as one means of discerning the needs and desires of the School District and its residents. The ultimate authority to make decisions will continue to reside in the powers and duties of the Board as imposed by State Law and/or regulations. Fiscal Advisory Committee members will be appointed for three-year terms. Each May, the Board will advertise the vacancies on the Fiscal Advisory Committee. Appointments will be made on or before June 30 and will require a majority vote of the Board present at a posted regular School Board meeting. Fiscal Advisory Committee members shall be selected on a first come, first served basis. Incumbents will be given priority consideration for reappointment to a subsequent three-year term. The Fiscal Advisory Committee will have a maximum of nine members and maximum of two alternates. DCSD SB Policy: BDFA
